Celebrate Precept’s 40th anniversary!

Forty years ago, Precept Ministries began building a spiritual army that is being mobilized by God across the United States and 150 nations—an army built on inductive study of God’s Word that transforms and equips individuals young and old to be “good soldiers of Jesus Christ.” You are part of that army.

Go to the following link for suggestions on how you can celebrate with Precepts.

Gifts from the King…regift them!

Regifting is the act of taking a gift that has been received and giving it to somebody else, sometimes in the guise of a new gift. A consumer survey indicated that a majority of people regift because they perceive the gift will be appreciated by the receiver…                     Wikipedia

THE GIFT OF LOVE

Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. John 13:1

Regift it!

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.  By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.   John 13:34-35

THE GIFT OF SERVANTHOOD

Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was going back to God, got up from supper, and laid aside His garments; and taking a towel, He girded Himself.  Then He poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.                                                               John 13:3-5

the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give Him life a ransom for many.                                                                        Matthew 20:28

Regift it!

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important that yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.  Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus…            Philippians 2:3-5

THE GIFT OF SPIRITUAL CLEANSING

Peter said to Him, “Never shall You wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.” John 13:8

…the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God…Hebrews 9:14

…but if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:7, 9

Regift it!

For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.      Matthew 6:13-14

THE GIFT OF EXAMPLE

You call Me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I am.  If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.  For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you.  If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.                             John 13:13-15, 17

Regift it!

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.              Ephesians 5:1-2

Have you accepted Jesus’ gifts?

Are you willing to regift them to others?
